Belli Gejje, in the year 2009, was a celebration of Poornima's 25 years as a performer. The celebration included performances by Poornima herself and other renowned Bharathanatyam artists. It was her privilege to felicitate her Gurus Sri Dhananjayans in the same year that they were conferred the esteemed 'Padma Bhushan' award by the Government of India. 'Smriti', a book covering Poornima's journey since her 'Rangapravesham', was also released at the event.
